Prescott Gun Club’s Tactical Rifle and Handgun Course 300 focuses on basic safety, advanced shooting positions, threat assessments, barrier transitions, reloading on the move, and suppressive fire techniques. This is a 6 to 7-hour, comprehensive course with instruction provided over two weekdays or, if offered, one full day on Saturday or Sunday.
The equipment and supplies required for this class are eye and ear protection, a military style rifle, three (3) 20 or 30-round magazines, dual rifle magazine pouch or carrier, a three-point or single-point sling, a semi-automatic pistol or revolver, magazine pouch or speed loader pouch with speed loader, closed-toed shoes or boots, 300 to 400 rounds of rifle ammunition, 50 rounds of pistol ammunition, and knee pads (optional but highly recommended).
Firearms may be rented at no cost. However, if you use a rented firearm, you will need to purchase Prescott Gun Club ammunition. Rifles, pistols, eye protection, ear protection, ammunition, knee pads, magazines and magazine pouches, speed loaders and speed loader pouches, are available for purchase at Prescott Gun Club.
